About the SkyLinker
SkyLinker is an information and analytical resource dedicated to the development of modern satellite communications and related technologies.
We create a space that combines:
news and analytics about key satellite projects (Starlink, OneWeb, Kuiper, and others),
reviews of companies, solutions, and products in the field of satellite communications,
materials about innovations, scientific research, and new technologies,
publications about cybersecurity, electronic warfare (EW), and electronic intelligence (ELINT) affecting communication infrastructure.
At the start, SkyLinker will operate as an online publication with informational articles: part of the content will be available to everyone, while extended materials will be for subscribers only. This allows supporting the project’s development and receiving high-quality expert information.
In addition to the website, we are developing a YouTube channel for video reviews, practical guides, and discussions, as well as opening support opportunities through Patreon and BuyMeACoffee.
The goal of SkyLinker is to become an industry information resource useful for:
professionals in telecommunications and IT,
equipment manufacturers and developers,
researchers and scientists,
military and government structures,
all enthusiasts interested in the future of global communications.
SkyLinker will grow along with the industry — from a “simple” site with basic publications to a branched platform with an expanded structure, multi-level subscription, and new content formats.
Subscribe for full access to all publications, including reviews, educational articles, and other materials. Or even become a patron to gain access to exclusive analytics and unique training materials.
About the Founder
The founder of SkyLinker is Volodymyr Stepanets — a Ukrainian IT specialist and expert in satellite communications, cybersecurity, and networking technologies, also known for his participation in many Ukrainian volunteer and miltech projects since 2014.
Volodymyr has extensive experience in creating and distributing training materials, practical guides, and analytics about Starlink satellite internet and other modern communication solutions. His work covers both technical analysis and research, as well as applied instructions for users in the most challenging conditions.
In 2022, he founded the “Narodnyi Starlink” community, which became one of the largest platforms in Ukraine for knowledge exchange about satellite communications. Under his coordination, training courses were created, a series of practical studies conducted, and large-scale projects organized for the military.
His expertise is recognized by specialists in Ukraine and abroad: from military units and volunteer organizations to IT businesses and equipment manufacturers. Since May 2025, Volodymyr Stepanets has been serving as Chief Product Officer at the Ukrainian company Stetman LLC, which is also a satellite communication operator under the brand UASAT.
By launching SkyLinker, Volodymyr seeks to transform his accumulated experience into an open platform that will become an industry information resource for everyone interested in modern satellite communications — from researchers and developers to practitioners and enthusiasts.
